JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — Raul Frias scored a career-high 21 points, shooting 7 for 9 from behind the 3-point arc, Raiquan Clark added 16 points with a career-high 15 rebounds plus two steals and two blocks and LIU Brooklyn broke away after halftime to defeat Saint Peter's 74-58 on Saturday.

The Blackbirds (5-4), who had lost four of their previous five games, battled with Saint Peter's through seven lead changes in a first half that ended 34-34.

After the break, LIU Brooklyn opened on an 11-5 run with two steals and three 3-poiners — including back-to-back treys from Frias — to lead 45-39 at the first media timeout. The Peacocks (2-7) came as close as 48-44 on a Dallas Watson 3, but were not able to get closer as the Blackbirds steadily widened their lead.
