Chicago St. 65, Houston Baptist 56

Jeremy Robinson had 17 points and 14 rebounds, and Chicago State

won on the road for the first time this season, defeating Houston

Baptist 65-56 Thursday night.

The Cougars (4-22, 2-6 Great West) had lost their first 15 road

games this season. But they never trailed Thursday and completed a

sweep of the Huskies, having won the previous meeting in Chicago

last month, 98-95 in overtime.

Matt Samuels scored 14 points, Clarke Rosenberg scored 13 and

Lee Fisher had 12 points for Chicago State, which used a late 11-0

run to put it away. Terry Bembry led Houston Baptist (8-17, 1-5)

with 15 points. Marcel Smith scored 10 points. The Huskies rallied

from a 13-point first-half deficit to tie at 47 with 10 minutes
