Arizona freshman Aaron Gordon will announce this week that he’€™ll enter the 2014 NBA Draft, Yahoo Sports reported.

Gordon, who helped lead the Wildcats to a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament and a trip to the Elite Eight, averaged 12.4 points and 8 rebounds this past season. He was also a lockdown defender, contributing to the Wildcats No. 1 ranking in the country in defensive efficiency.

Gordon€’s decision to leave is not unexpected as it was widely believed he would spend one year in college before entering the draft. Arizona has another talented freshman ready to replace Gordon in Stanley Johnson.
