Scores 19 points off bench Davis notched 19 points (6-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, an assist and a steal across 25 minutes off the bench in Thursday's win over Virginia Tech.

Impact Davis might have come off the bench in this game, but he still paced the Tar Heels in another win -- North Carolina has looked impressive during their current ACC Tournament run. Davis has been a spark off the bench for the Tar Heels and has scored in double digits in four of his last six outings.

Scores 12 points off bench Davis had 12 points (3-11 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, an assist and a steal across 23 minutes off the bench in Saturday's win over Florida State.

Impact The Tar Heels came back from a big deficit in the second half to defeat the Seminoles and Davis certainly contributed with that, as he was one of the team's top scorers while recording a double-digit scoring performance for the second game in a row. Davis seems destined to end the season as a bench player, however, and he has averaged 7.9 points across 18.3 minutes per game over his last 12 appearances, all of them off the bench.

FEBRUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE

Puts up 11 points Wednesday Davis delivered 11 points (4-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, an assist and a steal across 18 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's loss against Marquette.

Impact Davis was coming off six straight outings with single-digit scoring performances after scoring in double digits in four games in a row between Jan. 12 and Jan. 23, but he bounced back here and delivered a decent scoring performance despite struggling with his shot. Davis is only averaging 4.5 points per game in six games this month, though.

12 points off bench Davis had 12 points (3-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and two steals across 21 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 81-75 victory over Syracuse.

Impact Davis has now came off the bench in two of North Carolina's last three games, as Roy Williams has instead elected to increase the playing time of Kerwin Walton. On the bright side, the 12 points scored by Davis were the most in ACC play, but prepare for the freshman's production to remain inconsistent without a solidified role.

JANUARY 13 • ROTOWIRE

Coming off bench Tuesday Davis will not start Tuesday's game against Syracuse.

Impact Caleb Love will start instead. Davis' played 23 minutes against Notre Dame on Jan. 2 during his only appearance off the bench this season, so he figures to remain involved, though it could be to a lesser extent than usual. Davis has seen his playing time diminish over the course of the season, as he's averaging just 20.7 minutes per game during his past three contests compared to the 29.1 he saw across the first eight games to start the year.

Not starting Saturday Davis is not included in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Notre Dame, C.L. Brown of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.

Impact Davis has started in all nine of the Tar Heels' games this season while averaging 9.6 points, three rebounds and 2.7 assists in 28.6 minutes per game. He'll be replaced in the lineup by Kerwin Walton who just recently played a career-high 23 minutes this past Wednesday.

Impact Davis suffered a bruised knee earlier in Saturday's contest, but he was able to return to the game shortly after. Given his quick return, it wouldn't be surprising to see him available for the Tar Heels going forward.

Suffers bruised knee Davis exited Saturday's game against Kentucky with a bruised right knee.

Impact Davis bruised his knee when he was fouled early in the second half of Saturday's contest. He's working with the team's medical staff to return to the game, but it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to get back onto the court.

Scores team-high 16 points Davis scored 16 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT) while adding six rebounds and an assist across 28 minutes during Monday's 78-51 win over UNLV.

Impact Davis has done a good job as a starter in the first two games of the Tar Heels this season, topping the 10-point mark both times while also grabbing a total of 10 rebounds, an impressive tally considering he is just six-feet tall. Davis should remain as a starter in Tuesday's game at Stanford.
