Impact Yarmah is a true freshman commit and is buried down on the depth chart. He will continue to practice with the team throughout the year, as he continues to develop his game with the hopes of cracking the rotation next year.

Nordin Kapic - Battling through thigh injury Kapic was limited to just four minutes in Wednesday's win over Presbyterian due to a thigh injury, Kevin Miller of On 3 Sports reports.
Impact Kapic started the first two contests to open up the season but was brought off the bench Wednesday night and only played four minutes due to a thigh bruise. Fortunately, the injury is not serious and Kapic should be viewed as day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's meeting against Radford.

EJ Walker - Will redshirt in 2025-2026 Walker (undisclosed) is set to redshirt in 2025-2026, per Kevin Miller of On3.com.
Impact Walker has yet to play this season, and indeed, the 6-foot-7 freshman will redshirt and look towards 2026-2027 for the Gamecocks.

Impact The junior center didn't play on Wednesday against Presbyterian, and now we know why; Essandoko is dealing with a thumb ailment. It's unclear how long he may be sidelined for, but at the moment, he's a question mark for Tuesday against Radford.

Jordan Butler - Scores 11 before fouling out Butler accumulated 11 points (3-4 FG, 5-5 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 20 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 81-61 win over Presbyterian.
Impact Butler is a 7-0 junior who played a combined 20 minutes in the first two games. He did not score in 11 minutes in the overtime win against Southern Miss on Sunday. If he can stay on the court, Butler provides functional size that the Gamecocks simply do not have on their roster otherwise.

Hayden Assemian - Starts, grabs eight boards Assemian registered five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds and two blocks in 15 minutes during Wednesday's 81-61 win over Presbyterian.
Impact The 6-6 freshman played 21 minutes off the bench in the overtime win against Southern Miss on Sunday. He moved into the starting lineup for Nordin Kapic, but played a reserve's complement of minutes. Keep an eye on Assemian who played high school ball with fellow Gamecock freshman Eli Ellis.
