Sadiq White Jr. - Scores team-high 14 points White totaled 14 points (6-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-3 FT) and three rebounds over 19 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 95-64 loss to Iowa State.
Impact White was one of three Syracuse players who scored in double digits in this game, but he led the team in that scoring column in what turned out to be a disappointing 31-point loss. White has scored in double digits just twice this season, and it's hard to trust him to be a regular fantasy contributor, especially considering Syracuse's recent offensive woes.

Tamin Lipsey - Could miss multiple more games Head coach TJ Otzelberger said Wednesday that Iowa State could hold Lipsey out of the next couple of games to make sure Lipsey is 100 percent before returning, Jeff Goodman of TheF...
Impact Otzelberger said the move is out of caution, and that the Cyclones want to be sure their star guard is fully recovered before pushing him back into game action. Lipsey dealt with a groin injury for parts of the 2024-25 season, though it's unclear if the two injuries are to the same groin. Iowa State's next chance to play is Dec. 3 against Alcorn State. After that, they face Purdue on Dec. 6 and Iowa on Dec. 11. If Lipsey can't suit up for any of the three contests, Nate Hiese and Jamarion Batemon could handle more minutes.

Tamin Lipsey - Not participating in warmups Lipsey (groin) isn't participating in pregame warmups ahead of Wednesday's game against Syracuse, Eugene Rapay of The Journal News reports.
Impact Lipsey suffered a groin injury in Iowa State's first game at the Players Era Festival, and it looks like the star guard will miss Wednesday's tournament finale. Lipsey's next chance to play will come Dec. 3 against Alcorn State. Nate Heise will likely draw the start in Lipsey's place.

Tamin Lipsey - Game-time decision Wednesday Lipsey (groin) is a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against Syracuse at Las Vegas, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact For a second straight game in Las Vegas, Iowa State will push Lipsey's injury status until the start of the team's upcoming game. The last time he was a game-time decision came in the same Players Era Festival tournament that the Cyclones are still partaking in. The GTD came against Creighton, and Lipsey did not start, with his team opting to rest him and start Nate Heise instead. Heise responded strongly by logging six assists, five rebounds and three steals.

Nate Heise - Dishes six assists in first start Heise racked up eight points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals across 39 minutes during Tuesday's 78-60 win over Creighton.
Impact Heise made his first start of the season with leading scorer Tamin Lipsey sidelined by a groin injury, and the end result was a solid all-around stat line and the Cyclones maintaining their undefeated record. Lipsey is considered day-to-day, so Heise may get another opportunity for extended run when Iowa State faces off against Syracuse in the Players Era Festival on Wednesday.
