Impact Dante was unavailable for the start of the season while returning from ACL surgery in December 2020, but he only ended up missing the first two games of the campaign. He averaged 8.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.2 blocks in 17.7 minutes as a starter for the Ducks last year before going down with the injury.

The 6-11 sophomore was also shooting an efficient 66 percent from the field. His season will unfortunately come to an end as L.J. Figueroa is presumed to take his place in the starting lineup moving forward.

Impact Dante's knees have caused him issues in camp, but the staff feels comfortable with his progress. It's something they will likely monitor regularly throughout the season, however.

It does not sound as if these knee issues are something would endanger Dante's playing status when the season begins, but more be something to keep an eye on as the season progresses for wear on tear.
