ImpactHamm was given a start back on Jan. 26 when the Texas frontcourt was in dire straits due to COVID-19 protocol, but he's seen his playing time significantly diminish with the return of Greg Brown and Jericho Sims. The frustrations regarding playing time seemed to boil over, as Hamm allegedly tweeted "loyalty means nothing nowadays!" from his personal twitter account before later deleting the post. Commenting on the situation, coach Shaka Smart relayed that Hamm didn't do anything wrong, but that he was instead looking to get Jase Febres and Kamaka Hepa some playing time. It's unclear if there will be additional consequences for Hamm extending into Saturday's matchup against TCU.

ImpactThis was the third straight game in which Gordon had at least eight rebounds. The sophomore has now started the last three games with DaJuan Gordon out with a foot injury. There is not timetable for his return, so Antonio Gordon should continue to start in the meantime. Oklahoma State is up next for the Wildcats on Saturday.

ImpactMcGuirl and Nigel Pack continue to lead the way in a rebuilding season for Kansas State. McGuirl is now averaging 11.6 points, 3.6 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.2 three-pointers in 34.0 minutes per contest. The senior should continue to fire a ton of three-point attempts the rest of the season. Kansas State travels to take on Oklahoma State next.

ImpactPack has been one of the few bright spots this season for the Wildcats. Since returning from a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, Pack is averaging 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.6 three-pointers, and 3.4 assists over these past five games. He should continue to have the green light going forward the rest of the season. Kansas State will face Oklahoma State on Saturday next.

ImpactColeman had a season-low three shot attempts in this one, as he took a backseat to Andrew Jones who carried the Longhorns to a much needed victory. Coleman's seven assists were his second most of the season, however. The senior guard is now averaging 12.8 points, 3.9 assists, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 three-pointers, and 1.3 steals per contest this season. TCU is up next on Saturday.
