Two more games postponed Butler has postponed their games against Northern Kentucky (Dec. 6) and Kansas St. (Dec. 11) due to more positive COVID-19 tests within the team, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports report...

Impact Butler will now have three consecutive games postponed due to an ongoing COVID-19 spread within the team. Thompson, who led the offense with 21 points in their only game against Western Michigan, will now have to wait to take the court until Dec. 14 against St. John's.

Sunday's game postponed Sunday's game between Butler and Eastern Illinois has been postponed due to COVID-19 reasons.

Impact There was a positive COVID-19 test in the Butler delegation following Wednesday's season opener against Western Michigan and, as a result, the team has cancelled all activities until further notice. Thompson registered 21 points (6-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 8-11 FT), four assists, two rebounds and two blocks against Western Michigan in his lone appearance of the season so far.

Impact Thompson was battling back from a wrist injury in the offseason during camp, but should face no limitations right out of the gate. He figures to big a big factor in the rotation this season.

Should be full-go in a week Thompson is working his way back from left wrist surgery but should be full-go in approximately a week, David Woods of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Impact Thompson managed to play out the end of the season but apparently underwent surgery in the offseason on the wrist issue. Given that he's expected to be full-go in a week and that it shouldn't have prevented him from getting in his conditioning this offseason, Thompson should be ready to roll by the time the Bulldogs' season kicks off.
