Five different players scored for Vegas, while Jaccob Slavin scored the lone goal for Carolina. Scott Darling was pulled in favor of Cam Ward after Darling allowed three goals on eight shots in just 12:59. Marc-Andre Fleury made 27 saves for the Golden Knights.
