WWE wrestler Rhyno loses race for seat in Michigan House

Terrence Guido Gerin, AKA Rhyno, will not be sitting in the Michigan legislature after losing his bid for a House seat on Election Day.

Gerin, a Republican, lost to Democratic candidate Abdullah Hammoud.

Here is what he had to say about it on Facebook:

Gerin won an August primary and has maintained he is serious about politics. He continues to work with the WWE on SmackDown Live.

The 41-year-old will have to wait out another term to try again. It’s unclear if he intends to run.
