Tom Brady’s Donald Trump endorsement earned this rugby player a bunch of hate
It’s been a rough few days for Tom Brady.
No, not the Patriots quarterback. He had a bye week and then got exactly what he wanted in the presidential election. But English rugby player Tom Brady hasn’t been as fortunate.
When Donald Trump revealed on Monday that the American Brady had voted for him, Brady immediately started getting hateful tweets. The only problem is the Patriots quarterback isn’t on Twitter. The Leicester Tigers winger is, though.

@tbrady14 Gees, Tom. You're New England! Couldn't you have kept your shameful support for Trump to yourself? Stay out of politics!!!

You get the idea. There were also a bunch of people congratulating him for his wonderful choice, and one guy who sent Brady over a dozen tweets about the NFL CBA and the RICO act.
The Brady behind the account tried to clear things up, but the tweets kept coming.
In response to the tweets i've received from people who may, or may not, have me mistaken for someone else… I have NOT voted for #Trump 👀

Sorry about all that, Tom. Good luck against the Newport Gwent Dragons on Saturday.
