The Internet steps up to help Philadelphia Zoo name newborn baby gorilla
Welp. It's happening.
The Philadelphia Zoo announced the birth of a western lowland gorilla within its confines on Wednesday.
Per Philly.com's Emily Baby, the newborn is the second birth for Honi, a 21-year-old Western lowland gorilla in the exhibit.
The only thing to do now is name the infant—a matter the zoo is, graciously and against all reason, leaving up to the public.
The Internet has some ideas. You may know where this is going.
The newborn is the first gorilla birth at the zoo in 20 years. Whatever its name, it will be championed a hero by the Internet masses.
Dan is on Twitter. Harambinho or we've failed.
