Attitude adjustment: Dolphins compete in Oklahoma drills at practice under new HC Campbell
According to multiple Dolphins beat reporters, Campbell, a former NFL tight end who previously served as the team’s tight ends coach, rounded up the players for the old-school drill on Wednesday.
According to the Miami Herald’s Adam Beasley, Philbin had "shied away" from the from the drill during his tenure. It is almost certainly not occurring at any other NFL practice in midseason.
Meanwhile, quarterback Ryan Tannehill, mired in his own mini-controversy concerning alleged taunts toward practice squad players, said that Campbell "realizes that this is a physical and aggressive game" and that the Dolphins haven’t played that way at times.
Dan Campbell just pulled the Dolphins team together in practice… Split offense and defense… And started Oklahoma drills. Here we go.
