Don’t mess up Meyers Leonard’s name, or he’ll scream across the court to correct you
Meyers Leonard probably gets his name spelled wrong on a weekly basis, so eventually he was bound to crack.
During Monday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls, Leonard committed a foul and turned to hear the public address announcer call him “Myles” in front of thousands of people. He wasn’t about to have it—not today. He’d seen “Myers Leonard” written too many times. To make matters worse, he was in his home state of Illinois, where he played college ball for the Fighting Illini. It was the perfect storm.
Leonard then yelled across the court, as he prepared to stand outside the lane for a pair of free throw attempts.
“MEYERS!” he screamed.
Illinois native Meyers Leonard can't get any love, has to correct PA announcer, who keeps calling him "Myles" https://t.co/y11xozx7hF

That’s the last time you ever mess with Myles Leonard.
