If they were sentient beings, it would be love at first sight. Not quite, but their owner, new U.S. Open champion Jordan Spieth, can certainly revel in their union.
The 21-year-old has now notched the first two legs of golf’s Grand Slam and will turn his sights next to the British Open at St. Andrews on July 16.

Rory McIlroy is a narrow British Open favorite over Spieth, who will do his best to bring the Claret Jug home to his trophy case (or bed, it looks like) and make it a hardware/fabric threesome.
