Deployed U.S. soldiers show Astros pride with throwback rainbow jerseys
The U.S. Army’s Houston-based 136th Expeditionary Signal Battalion is sending some love back home to the Astros from overseas.
The unit was stationed to the Middle East in mid-September and did not forget to pack their throwback rainbow uniforms for their deployment. The soldiers put on the ’70s-era jerseys to properly celebrate the Astros’ American League Wild Card game victory over the Yankees Tuesday night.
