Lions fans pay for billboard to rip refs who blew ‘bat’ call
That was fast.
Hours after the referees blew a call at the end of the Detroit Lions-Seattle Seahawks game Monday night, which resulted in a 13-10 loss for the Lions, a billboard saying, "Blind to the bat" cropped up in Detroit on Tuesday.

To refresh your memory, with the Lions trailing 13-10 in the closing seconds, wide receiver Calvin Johnson fumbled the ball at the 1-yard line. Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright then intentionally batted the loose ball out of the end zone, which was called a touchback by the refs.
After the game, and Detroit’s loss, the NFL said the refs blew the call and it should’ve been a penalty on Seattle.
