Bear delay! American Legion game paused when creature circles outfield fence
An American Legion baseball game on Sunday in Juneau, Alaska, was paused when someone spotted a bear walking the perimeter of the outfield fence. But because this is Alaska where people are used to seeing bears — and not, say, Center City in Philadelphia — no one panics, not even the left fielder who stands about 50 feet from the furry tractor.
All in all, the bear delay lasts about a minute, as the giant mammal traipses around the perimeter of the outfield fence, at about the same speed that its cousin, Kung Fu Panda, rounds the bases.
Party on, bear.
