Patriots’ classy gesture for Devon Still leads to emotional moment; Sydney Maler is Fox-y

Before we cover the fun and wacky from yesterday’s NFL action, we have to start with a very classy gesture by the Patriots that led to an emotional moment last night. During its game against the Bengals, New England played a video tribute to Devon Still’s 4-year-old daughter, Leah, who is battling cancer. It was also announced that Patriots owner Robert Kraft was donating $25,000 to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. In addition, the Patriots’ cheerleaders all wore Still’s No. 75 jersey. Not surprisingly, Still was touched by the moment.

After the Browns erased a 28-3 deficit to beat the Titans, 29-28, the team, led by quarterback Brian Hoyer danced up a storm in the locker room.

Thanks to the Jaguars adding a swimming pool to their stadium, we now get bizarre pictures like this during games.

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant had the catch of the day, which happened to lead to Dallas beating the Texans in overtime.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce paid tribute to the Nature Boy,  Ric Flair, after scoring a touchdown in the first quarter against the Niners.

Not only did New England quiet the critics (at least for one week) with its blowout of the Bengals, the team even managed to have some fun. At one point, Tom Brady and Julian Edelman "argued" over who would spike the ball after a touchdown.

Geno Smith missed a team meeting on Saturday because he was at the movies.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians says this chop block by Broncos tight end Julius Thomas is the dirtiest play he’s ever seen.

Arizona State beat USC Saturday on a Hail Mary. Here is the outstanding Sun Devils radio call.

Model Sydney Maler gets today’s Fox-y Lady honors.
