Show me something
Ross Pearson (right) earned the UFC contract, but his win over Andre Winner did nothing to excite anybody. If he's to be a money fighter, he needs to open it up.
Raising his game
Joe Stevenson dominated Nate Diaz. It was definitely a must-win fight for Stevenson, who three of his previous four fights -- granted they were against the elite of the lightweight division. Let's see if he can stick to the changes we saw Saturday.
To the point
James Wilks showed that experience means a lot as he dismantled TUF darling DaMarques Johnson for the welterweight contract. Where he fits in remains to be seen, but I wouldn't overlook Wilks. The Brit proved he's a dangerous fighter who can get you out of there.
Wow. The courage Diego Sanchez and Clay Guida showed in the main event was amazing. How Guida survived the kick (pictured) is beyond me. But, Sanchez extended his win streak to four and should be getting a title shot in 2010.
