Mayock scores 20 as American University beats Bucknell 71-63

LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Matt Mayock's 20 points helped American defeat Bucknell 71-63 on Saturday.

Mayock shot 8 for 9, including 4 for 5 from beyond the arc for the Eagles (8-7, 2-0 Patriot League). Lorenzo Donadio scored 11 points and added six rebounds and five assists. Geoff Sprouse was 3 of 8 shooting (3 for 7 from 3-point range) to finish with 11 points.

Jack Forrest led the way for the Bison (4-11, 1-1) with 18 points and six rebounds. Elvin Edmonds IV added 10 points and four assists for Bucknell. Ruot Bijiek also put up nine points.
