Martin's 24 lead Marshall past Southern Miss 83-67

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Nate Martin had 24 points in Marshall's 83-67 victory over Southern Miss on Saturday night.

Martin added 10 rebounds and six assists for the Thundering Herd (11-11, 6-3 Sun Belt Conference). Kamdyn Curfman shot 7 for 17 (4 for 11 from 3-point range) and 3 of 5 from the free-throw line to add 21 points. Kevon Voyles had 13 points and finished 5 of 12 from the field.

Austin Crowley led the way for the Golden Eagles (12-9, 6-3) with 18 points and four assists. Cobie Montgomery added 17 points for Southern Miss. In addition, Donovan Ivory had 12 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
