Campbell's 17 help Samford knock off Alabama State 99-67

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Jaden Campbell had 17 points in Samford's 99-67 victory against Alabama State on Wednesday night.

Campbell was 6 of 7 shooting, including 2 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the line for the Bulldogs (3-2). Achor Achor scored 13 points, going 4 of 7 and 5 of 6 from the free throw line. Rylan Jones had 11 points and shot 4 for 8, including 3 for 7 from beyond the arc.

Isaiah Range finished with 15 points for the Hornets (1-4). Eric Coleman Jr. added 14 points for Alabama State. In addition, CJ Hines had 12 points and five assists.
