Former University of Arizona basketball star Michael Wright was found dead in the back seat of his vehicle on Tuesday morning in Brooklyn.

Police say Wednesday that 35-year-old Wright was last seen Nov. 5. His body was found Tuesday morning covered in what appeared to be trash bags in the Midwood section of Brooklyn.

The medical examiner has ruled Wright’s death a homicide. There have been no arrests.

Wright, who averaged 15.1 points and 8.4 rebounds in three seasons for Arizona from 1998 through 2001, was 35. He was the starting forward and second-leading scorer for Arizona’s 2001 team that lost to Duke in the NCAA championship game, playing on a team that included Gilbert Arena, Richard Jerfferson, Jason Gardner, Loren Woods and Luke Walton.
