D-backs trade Bourn to Orioles for minor-leaguer

PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks traded outfielder Michael Bourn to the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night in exchange for minor-league outfielder Jason Heinrich.

Heinrich, 20, was selected in the fifth round of the 2015 draft by the Orioles out of River Ridge High School in New Port Richey, Fla. He hit .231 with eight doubles, three home runs and 13 RBI in 44 games with Short-Season A Aberdeen this season.

Bourn, 33, appeared in 89 games with the D-backs and hit .261 with 12 doubles, six triples, three home runs and 30 RBI.
