WWE World Champion Randy Orton has spent virtually his entire career in WWE, and he's seemingly fed up with independent wrestlers outside of WWE decrying the biggest company in the business. Orton, who is always entertaining on Twitter and often speaks his mind on a variety of issues, ripped the state of independent wrestling and dropped the mic with an incredible humblebrag over the weekend at the end of the WWE's European tour.
Here's how it all started:
63-year-old wrestling veteran Rip Rogers posted a scathing critique of what independent wrestling has become on Twitter
Rogers blasted indy shows for essentially becoming superkick festivals full of "dives."
Randy Orton retweeted Rogers' post, which drew the ire of many independent stars
WWE legend Bubba Ray Dudley, who currently wrestles for Ring Of Honor, seemingly referenced Orton's post, which led Orton to fire back
Bubba Ray clarified his original post, and took a hilarious shot at Orton's experimental "House of Horrors" match with Bray Wyatt
Orton finally cleared the air with an 'apology'
Mega-popular independent tag team The Young Bucks had the best possible response
