Oklahoma City high school wrestler charged with sex crime

MOORE, Okla. (AP) An athlete at an Oklahoma City high school has been charged with a sex crime after what the boy called a wrestling move was described by police as obscene groping.

The 17-year-old student at Southmoore High School was charged with rape by instrumentation by a youthful offender on Thursday. Police in Moore said Friday that the boy told investigators someone had done the same thing to him previously but that he had never used the maneuver in a match.

Four students at nearby Norman North High School face similar charges after an alleged assault on a bus.
