TULSA, Okla. (AP) Maya Moore scored 13 of her 40 points in the final five minutes and the Minnesota Lynx beat the Tulsa Shock 84-75 to run their winning streak to nine games.
Moore scored 30 or more points for the 11th time this season to break a tie for the WNBA record set by Phoenix’s Diana Taurasi in 2008.
After Tulsa’s Tiffany Jackson-Jones tied it at 69 on a free throw with 5:25 to play, Moore put Minnesota (22-6) ahead to stay with a 3-pointer from the left wing with 5:09 remaining for her 30th point. She added a pair of free throws with 4:13 to go for a five-point advantage.

Tulsa (10-19) would get no closer than three points the rest of the way as Minnesota finished the game on a 15-6 run, with Moore scoring all but two of her team’s points.
Seimone Augustus added 22 points for Minnesota.
MERCURY 79, FEVER 69
PHOENIX (AP) – Brittney Griner scored 17 points and the Mercury used a fourth quarter run to pull away from the Fever.
Diana Taurasi added 15 points, five assists and three rebounds for the Mercury (23-4), who haven’t lost consecutive games all season.
Phoenix, which lost to Minnesota on Thursday night to end its 16-game winning streak, ran off 13 straight points after falling behind 63-61 with 7:09 left in the game.
Shavonte Zellous scored 14 points to lead the Fever (13-15). Tamika Catchings, who had been averaging 15.8 points in the 10 games she has played this season, was held to eight points on 0-of-10 shooting on Saturday.
