Reports: Giants reach agreement with Jenkins

Reports: Former Packers DT Cullen Jenkins has signed a three-year contract with the New York Giants.

Former Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins is a free agent no more.

According to NFL.com, Jenkins signed a three-year deal with the New York Giants for $8 million, with $3 million guaranteed.

Jenkins, 32, was released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 25 and had garnered some interest around the NFL.

With Green Bay's defensive line needing a boost, the Packers focused their attention on 30-year-old free agent Chris Canty, rather than on Jenkins.

Jenkins recorded 9.5 sacks and 66 tackles in his two years with the Eagles.
