Marquette will not play in any postseason tournaments after they were not selected by the NIT, the team announced Sunday.

The Golden Eagles finished the year 20-13 and 8-10 in the Big East Conference and an RPI ranking of 110.

Marquette has not made the NCAA tournament since 2013. Freshman Henry Ellenson led the team in scoring and rebounding this season, followed by Luke Fischer.

Five Big East teams made the NCAA tournament this season.
