'Inaccurate Reception' ref umping softball for Seahawks

Lance Easley, the infamous 'Inaccurate Reception' ref, is teaming up with Seattle for one final game.

GREEN BAY, Wis. --  Lance Easley just will not go away.

The NFL replacement referee who infamously ruled a touchdown on the final play between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks in Week 3 last season is once again making the most out of his blown call.

Easley will umpire an upcoming charity softball game that is being hosted by Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman.

"Remember the Ref who called TD during the Green Bay Game Monday Night??? His name is Lance Easley and he is going to Umpire for us July 7th! Don't be surprised if a few flags are thrown," Sherman wrote on the Facebook page for the softball game.

Sherman and his teammates apparently don't mind Easley's presence. After all, Seattle was the beneficiary of the 'Inaccurate Reception.'

However, it only took the NFL a few days after that game to reach an agreement with the regular referees and get rid of Easley & Co.

It's safe to assume that Easley will not be welcome at the upcoming charity softball game hosted by now-retired Packers receiver Donald Driver.
