Packers sign five late-round draft choices

Five of the Packers' 2015 draftees have signed contracts, including fourth-round selection Jake Ryan, a linebacker from Michigan.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Five of the Packers’ eight draft picks have officially signed their rookie contracts.

The three that remain unsigned are Green Bay’s top three selections: first-round cornerback Damarious Randall, second-round cornerback Quinten Rollins and third-round wide receiver Ty Montgomery. All three of them took part in the team’s rookie orientation camp practice Friday.

According to data from Spotrac, here’s how the contracts break down for the five players whom the Packers have inked so far.

Jake Ryan, fourth round, inside linebacker:

Four years, $2.736 million ($456,678 signing bonus)

2016 cap hit: $639,169

2017 cap hit: $729,169

2018 cap hit: $819,169

Brett Hundley, fifth round, quarterback:

Four years, $2.503 million ($223,633 signing bonus)

Aaron Ripkowski, sixth round, fullback:

Four years, $2.386 million ($106,395 signing bonus)

Kennard Backman, sixth round, tight end:

Four years, $2.370 million ($90,487 signing bonus)
