The team announced Tuesday that tight ends coach Jerry Fontenot and running backs coach Sam Gash will not return next season following an 11-7 season in which the Packers missed out on the NFC North championship for the first time since 2010.

Fontenot got his start with the Packers as a coaching assistant in 2006, and went on to work as an offensive assistant, running backs coach and assistant offensive line coach.

Gash joined the Packers in 2014, a year after the team drafted Alabama product Eddie Lacy, who revitalized the team’s running game with back-to-back 1,00-yard seasons, before rushing for just 758 yards in 2015 amidst controversy over his physical fitness.
