Braun, Ramirez finalists for Gold Gloves

The Gold Glove Award winners will be revealed Tuesday night on ESPN2’s "Baseball Tonight" at 8:30 p.m.
Other finalists in left field include Atlanta’s Martin Prado and Colorado’s Carlos Gonzalez. At third base, New York’s David Wright and San Diego’s Chase Headley join Ramirez as finalists. The award is voted on by managers and coaches in each league.
Braun started 151 games in left field in 2012 with a .979 fielding percentage. Braun committed six errors, the most he’s made in a single season since moving to the outfield in 2008. Prado made three errors and had a .984 fielding percentage in 119 games in left field, while Gonzlaez had four errors and a .982 fielding percentage in 131 games.
In his first season with the Brewers, Ramirez had a stellar season defensively at third base. He committed just seven errors, the fewest in his career in a full season.
Ramirez had a .977 fielding percentage in 143 games at third base in 2012. He also had a 42-game errorless streak that ended in September.
Headley committed 10 errors in 159 games with a .976 fielding percentage, while Wright also committed 10 errors. He had a .974 fielding percentage in 159 games.
Robin Yount is the last Brewer to win a Gold Glove, taking home the honors at shortstop in the American League in 1982.
