Throwback Thursday: See Baron Davis ‘take over’ during Crossroads practice

On his way to being named the Gatorade National Basketball Player of the Year in 1997, Baron Davis had some fun at his teammates’ expense.

In our latest ‘Throwback Thursday, check out this video of Davis schooling his fellow hoopsters at Crossroads School in Santa Monica during the 1996-97 season.

Following his highly-decorated senior season at Crossroads, Davis went on an All-American career at UCLA, where he was recently inducted into the school’s athletic Hall of Fame.

Davis spent 15 years in the NBA, including three seasons with the Clippers (2008-11) and holds a 16.1 career points per game average.
