THOUSAND OAKS -- What impressed second-year Rams coach Sean McVay the most when he met free-agent Ndamukong Suh?

His career starts.

In 126 games played in Suh's soon-to-be 9-year NFL career, the veteran defensive tackle has started all 126.

"Being able to add a player of his caliber is something we feel really good about," McVay said on Friday. "He's the epitome of durability, over 50-career sacks."

Suh joins an already-talented defensive line featuring 2017 Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers.

And the 6-foot-4, 305-pound veteran is ready to put in work.

"We're in pretty good shape on paper, but we have a lot of things to improve on, really myself I always play with a chip on a shoulder and that's kinda my focus is to come in here and put in a lot of work and make sure I prove my worth," said Suh on Friday during his introductory press conference.

Suh, the second overall pick in the 2010 draft, spent four seasons in Detroit before wrapping up a three-year stint in Miami. He's posted 419 tackles, 51.5 sacks and four forced fumbles.
