Just when you thought he was out, the Lakers pull him back in.
The Lakers plan to have Nash, a two-time NBA MVP, back up Kendall Marshall on Friday at Staples Center.
Nash, who has averaged 7.6 points and 4.7 assists in 10 games this season, took part in a full practice Thursday.
Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni, who recently ruled out Nash's return to the court in 2013-14, suggested Wednseday that the guard could play the final 15 games of the regular season.
This season, Nash has dealt with nerve damage in his back and hamstring and hasn't played a game since Feb. 11.
At 22-45, the Lakers have the second-worst record in the Western Conference.
