JuJu Smith caps off huge day for USC by selecting Trojans

What a day for USC.
The five-star Smith (6-foot-1, 185 pounds) picked the Trojans over UCLA and Oregon and could play receiver or defensive back at USC.
He is the No. 2 safety in the nation, according to Scout.com, and gained 1,010 all-purpose yards, scored nine touchdowns and added 31 tackles as a senior for Long Beach Poly (11-2) in 2013.
Other local players suiting up for the Trojans this fall: Bryce Dixon (TE, St. Bonaventure), Jonathan Lockett (CB, Mater Dei), Viane Talamaivao (OL, Centennial), Ajene Harris (WR, Crenshaw), and Malik Dorton (DE, St. John Bosco).
