Greene to get more reps at second base

Manager Mike Matheny said Tyler Greene will likely get more innings at second base this spring than the other two competing for the open spot, but said it wasn’t because they were favoring Greene. Said Matheny: “That’s not necessarily showing favor to Tyler or anybody else. Tyler has less repetitions at second base and needs more over there to get a fair shot. We’ve seen the other guys at the second base position and we’re watching them close in all the drills. They are going to have innings over there in the games but as you see it start to play out, that’s most-likely how it will.”
