FOX Sports West & Prime Ticket to air 26 Angels spring training games

FOX Sports West and Prime Ticket, in partnership with the Los Angeles Angels, announced on Thursday their most comprehensive spring training schedule to date with 26 live game telecasts.

The complete Angels spring training broadcast schedule can be found here.

The schedule marks the ninth consecutive season of Angels spring training coverage on the regional sports networks.

New to the schedule this season, FOX Sports 1 will showcase the March 3 and March 4 telecasts to a national audience.

Calling the action live from Arizona, long-time Angels radio announcer, Terry Smith will again partner with analyst, Jose Mota. Immediately following game coverage, FOX Sports West and Prime Ticket will offer post-game analysis and interviews led by new "Angels Live" host, Patrick O’Neal as he rotates at the position with host, Kent French and play-by-play announcer, Victor Rojas. Reports from "Angels Weekly" host, Alex Curry and added analysis from Mark Gubicza and Mota enhance each post-game show from Arizona.

For the March 3 and March 4 games on FOX Sports 1, Rojas and Gubicza will pair up in the booth as they begin their fifth season together.

FOX Sports West will also simulcast both games live.

Gubicza and Rojas will also call the action when the Angels return home to Southern California for the final three Freeway Series exhibition games. And to round out the Spring Training telecast schedule on March 29, long-time over-the-air partner, KCOP-13 will deliver the FOX Sports West telecast due to prior schedule commitments.

Complementing live telecasts, Curry, and the FOX Sports West team will supply daily Angels Spring Training reports from Arizona. The updates can be seen during live, nightly programming on FOX Sports West and Prime Ticket, and on FOXSportsWest.com throughout February and March.

Fans can also get a closer glimpse of the 2014 Angels as FOX Sports West will debut "MLB 2014 Season Preview: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim" on March 21. The one-hour special will re-air multiple times on both FOX Sports West and Prime Ticket and also air nationally on FOX Sports 1.
