‘Batman vs. Superman’ takes over L.A. football stadium

For your halftime entertainment, Gotham City University vs. rival Metropolis State University.

Filming for the highly-anticipated ‘Batman vs. Superman’ movie will take place on Saturday at East Los Angeles College.

And here’s the gear the ‘players’ will don as they take the field.

During the 20-minute halftime of East Los Angeles College vs. Victor Valley College at Weingart Stadium in Monterey Park, shooting will commence in the stadium, which will transform into Gotham City University. Two thousand fans will wear the black and gold Gotham City while cheering on the ‘action’ from the filming area.

According to TIME
, director Zack Snyder is hoping to capture three takes of three different
plays, getting footage of players and fans.

Snyder decided to film at halftime of the 6:30 p.m. game instead of
on a night when the stadium would sit empty as a way to support the
school, according to TIME.

Stars Ben Affleck (Batman) and Henry Cavill (Superman) are not expected to attend.

But with superheroes, you never know.
