10/27/2002: Angels win franchise's first World Series

Has it really been 15 years? How's that for a Flashback Friday?!

The Angels, then called the Anaheim Angels, defeated the Giants in seven games to win the 2002 World Series.

It was a great day in franchise history as it was the club's first championship.
