A visa issue forced Saul Rogers out of his spot on "The Ultimate Fighter" finale, so now Artem Lobov will meet submission specialist Ryan Hall on Friday night.
Lobov capped his incredible run through the reality show with a first-round knockout of Julian Erosa on Wednesday night’s episode.
Lobov defeated each of his three opponents in the tournament by knockout or TKO and he was the only fighter all season who finished an opponent by strikes.
Hall actually fell to Rogers in a close, majority decision in the other semifinal matchup, but when the visa issue arose, the UFC quickly made a call to the American to step in as a replacement.
Following the end of the show, Hall actually traveled to Ireland where he worked with the SBG team, including Lobov and UFC 194 headliner Conor McGregor. The two fighters became friends during the show, but they will set that aside to do battle on Friday night with the latest season of "The Ultimate Fighter" coming to a close.
The other fights announced for "The Ultimate Fighter" finale:
Abner Lloveras vs. Chris Gruetzemacher
Marcin Wrzosek vs. Julian Erosa
"The Ultimate Fighter" finale goes down on Friday night from Las Vegas with featherweights Frankie Edgar and Chad Mendes headlining the card airing exclusively on FS1.
