UFC in Boston for FOX Sports 1

The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced early Friday that the premier mixed martial arts fighting organization would be returning to Boston for the launch of FOX Sports 1 on August 17.

UFC President Dana White announced the news on Twitter stating, "We are FINALLY going back to Boston at the TD Garden on Aug 17th for the launch of FOX Sports 1!"

The UFC has not been in Boston since August 2010 when they held UFC 118.

White further stressed, "We are bringing a SICK card :)," however that "sick" card is yet to be announced. 

Bouts, ticket information and times for the inaugural UFC card on FOX Sports 1 will be released in the coming weeks.
