Ronda Rousey vs Liz Carmouche

Round 1

Rousey gets the clinch early after an early charge from Ronda. Rousey gets the fight to the mat, but Carmouche is able to defend an early submission. Carmouche gets Rousey's back and is prepared to shock the world. She's locked on a nasty neck crank from the standing position, but Rousey is eventually able to shake her off. Carmouche ends up with Rousey in side control. Short punches on Carmouche who is eating short shots from in a headlock. Knees to the body, but Rousey has the armbar locked on. Carmouche is defending it well and has her arms triangled to hold her arm, but Ronda rolls through and gets her flat. Carmouche's arm is finally pried loose and Carmouche is forced to tap.

Official Result: Ronda Rousey by submission (R1, armbar, 4:49)

Lyoto Machida vs Dan Henderson

Round 3

Both fighters continue to feint their bigger shots. Henderson comes forward with rush, but his strikes are blocked. Machida lands with a big body kick. Henderson steps in and gets a takedown off a mistake by Machida. Ground and pound to the body from Henderson. Machida ties up with Hendo and holds him down. Henderson is packaging up Machida and is landing elbow strikes on the ribs of "The Dragon". Machida uses a kimura to roll back to his feet. Machida puts out a leg kick that is blocked. He winces slightly from the checked kick. Henderson continues to load up that big right, but misses with a counter. Machida with a jumping kick to the face. Another head kick from Machida. Dan tries for one last big right hand as the fight ends.

Score: 10-9 Henderson and 29-28 for Lyoto Machida

Official Result: Lyoto Machida wins via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

Round 2

Outside leg kick attempt from Henderson. Hendo lands an inside leg kick. Machida lands a big kick to the body after a solid clinch and dirty boxing sequence. Front kick lands on Henderson, but he catches the kick and Hendo charges with that big right. He's only finding air so far. Henderson misses a big right counter after two solid punches from Machida. Inside leg kick from Henderson. Hendo comes in for a takedown and eats a big knee to the body. Right hand from Machida and an inside leg kick is landed by Dan. Kick to the body from Machida. Big feint at the right hand and a miss with the "H Bomb". Machida lands a shot as Hendo comes in. The two circle but nothing is landing. Hendo comes in with a right, but it's blocked. Front kick from Machida. The round ends with Machida moving away from Hendo, who just plain looks slower.

Score: 10-9 Machida

Round 1  

Inside leg kick misses from Hendo. Two leg kicks from Henderson so far. Inside leg kick from Dan Henderson. He charges forward with two punches, but Machida gets away. Machida throws out a front kick, but Henderson retaliates with a leg kick. Body kick from Machida lands on the liver. Leg and body kicks are exchanged by both fighters. Body kick lands for Machida and the two tie up momentarily. Henderson is landing leg kicks at will, but there isn't much venom to them. Machida lands a right hand as Hendo steps in. Henderson clips Machida and tries to lock up with him. Hendo is throwing kicks to the lead leg of Machida and gets the clinch. Toss by Machida into Hendo's guard. The round ends.

Score: 10-9 Machida

Urijah Faber vs Ivan Menjivar

Round 1

Big right over the top from Menjivar. Right hand from Faber and Menjivar tosses Faber to his back. Faber, however, is able to roll over and get into side control. Menjivar back to full guard. Menjivar goes to pop Faber into a submission, but Faber stands up and holds the ankles. Big elbows from Faber early in the fight. Alternating elbows from Faber, who is pushed off by Menjivar. Big upkicks, whether to the body or to the head, and Faber chooses to dive back into Menjivar's guard. Big slashing elbow from Urijah Faber. They are back on their feet and Faber jumps onto Menjivar's back. Menjivar looks as if he is going to shake him off, but Faber looks on a tight rear naked choke from the standing position. Menjivar has no choice by to tap.

Official Result: Urijah Faber wins via submission (R1, rear naked choke, 4:34)

Court McGee vs Josh Neer

Round 3

Left kick to the body from McGee. Leg kick from Neer. Inside leg kick from Neer lands. Combination lands clean from McGee and the two fighters are swinging away in teh center of the cage. Head kick from McGee is blocked and McGee shoots in and presses Neer to the cage. Court McGee lands several solid knees to the thighs of Josh Neer who sneaks out the back door. McGee with a good combination that leads to a takedown that has Neer scrambling. Neer's face looks like he was run through a meat grinder at this point. McGee drops down in the clinch and tries for another takedown...and gets it. Josh Neer tries for a leglock, but McGee gets free and is back on top. Then Neer tries for an armbar, but McGee spins around and has a choke on Neer. Neer slips back to his back. McGee levels several short strikes on Neer. Big upkick from Neer. The round ends with McGee lands a long strike.

Score: 10-9 McGee and 29-28 for Court McGee

Official Result: Winner: Court McGee by (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Round 2

The fighters exchange leg kicks to start the round. McGee begins to go after the body of Neer again. More shots to the legs and body from McGee. McGee shoots for a takedown but it's stuffed on the feet. Neer is landing a few left hands on Court McGee and has him circling away. McGee is hurt now and he shoots for a takedown, but Neer is landing uppercuts in the clinch. Left hook to the body from McGee. Two rights to the body and a leg kick from Neer. More shots to the body from Neer. McGee looks exhausted now and Neer is looking much faster than in round one because McGee is slowing down. Knees to the body from Neer. McGee tries a spinning back kick and Neer moves out and laughs. McGee tags him to end the round.

Score: 10-9 Neer, 19-19 even

Round 1

Early head kick from McGee is blocked. Leg kick from Neer. Outside leg kick and we clinch. Neer lands a big right in the clinch. McGee is coming forward with combinations and connects with several hooks. Big overhand right from Neer. Inside leg kick from Court McGee. Left hand staggers Neer. Body kick lands on the liver of Josh Neer. McGee and Neer trade leg kicks after a series of good strikes. Big kick to the body from McGee. Good right hand lands again on the chin of Neer. Jumping left hook from Neer. Court McGee hurts Neer bad with a kick to the body. Another punch to the liver and another. Neer crumbles but is still holding on. McGee tries to get on top and locks in a rear naked choke to end the round. Saved by the bell.

Score: 10-9 McGee

Josh Koscheck vs Robbie Lawler

Round 1

Koscheck throws a kick and Lawler lands a left. Koscheck drives through and gets a double leg takedown. Lawler landing some elbows off his back before getting back to his feet...no, Kos hangs on to the head and arm and keeps Lawler near the mat. Koscheck is working to take the back of Robbie Lawler. As Lawler gets back toward his feet, Koscheck lands a big right hand. Lawler continues to sprawl and he lands a big knee to the body. Another knee to the body and Kos is down on his knees. Big punches to the head of Josh Koscheck and referee Herb Dean steps in to stop the fight.

Official Result: Robbie Lawler wins via TKO (R1, punches, 3:57)

Brendan Schaub vs Lavar Johnson

Round 3

Surely Johnson will be headhunting this round. Uppercut lands for Johnson. Schaub gets through on a double leg and is in Johnson's guard. The two are back on their feet and "Big" throws a huge right that just misses. Schaub ducks under and gets another takedown. Three minutes to go and Schaub is only holding Johnson down. The fans are booing as Schaub gets the mount. Lavar Johnson is able to scoot back into half guard. Head and arm choke attempt from Schaub. Lavar explodes up as Schaub dives at him. Another takedown and Lavar gets caught in a gator roll. Johnson is being exposed on the mat tonight. Johnson can't knock Brendan Schaub from his back and we see some more ground and pound as the round, and fight, end.

Score: 10-9 Schaub, 30-27 Schaub

Official Result: Brendan Schaub wins via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Round 2

Lavar slips on a sprawled takedown but gets back up. Clinched against the fence and Lavar Johnson is landing big shots to the body of Schaub. Big knee to the body from Johnson, but Schaub immediately shoots in and gets a takedown. Schaub is working for mount and he almost pulls it off before getting stood up by the referee. Johnson gets tagged while he loads up a big right. Another big right hand from Johnson barely connects as they lock up. Schaub lands a big right over the top as he goes for another takedown. A prolonged period sees Schaub landing short shots in the half guard against Johnson.

Score: 10-9 Schaub, 20-18 Schaub

Round 1

Johnson misses a big right and Schaub ducks under for a takedown. Schaub tries to step through to side control, but Johnson holds him into half guard. Schaub takes a guillotine but is eating a ton of strikes from Johnson. Anaconda choke from Schaub, but Johnson is free and has Schaub on top of him in side control. Johnson gets back to his feet and lands a nice knee to the body. Schaub is taken down by Johnson now. Brendan Schaub drops down to attack a leg and he uses the submission to get back on top in half guard. Schaub is working short strikes as he works to get his right leg free. Johnson gets back to his feet, but Schaub takes him right back down.

Score: 10-9 Schaub

Michael Chiesa vs Anton Kuivanen

Round 2

Left hand high kick combo fails to land. Chiesa shoots in and grabs a leg, fighting for a takedown that Kuivanen is warding off. Chiesa gets the back of Kuivanen and drags him to the mat. Tight body triangle from Chiesa on the back and Chiesa is fighting and fighting for the rear naked choke. Three attempts and he finally locks it on tight. Kuivanen is forced to tap.

Official Result: Michael Chiesa by submission (R2, rear naked choke, 2:29)

Round 1

Chiesa paws the jab out and misses on several shots. Kuivanen eats two right hands from Chiesa. Front kick to the body from Kuivnanen. Chiesa throws a big headkick and slips to the mat. He's back up quick. Chiesa comes forward and lands a good kick to the liver. Chiesa grabs a Thai clinch, but Kuivanen pushes him to the fence. Good grappling from each fighter. Two rights from Kuivanen and Chiesa opens his eyes wide and smiles. Chiesa catches a flying knee, but Kuivanen ends up back on his feet. Chiesa tries to toss Kuivanen down, but he presses back to his feet and the two are clinched up as the round draws to a close.

Score: 10-9 Kuivanen

Dennis Bermudez vs Matt Grice

Round 3

Bermudez is the aggressor in the third frame and hurts Grice badly with a big right. Grice gets rocked to the mat and eats a ton of shots. Back to their feet and Bermudez is abusing Grice. Huge rights and lefts have Grice bouncing off the cage. Big knees from Dennis see his eyes roll back, but he quickly recovers and bounces back into the punches of Bermudez. Uppercuts and rights from Bermudez continue to find a home. Grice eats a punch to the body and two big punches from Bermudez. Grice will just not go down. Another big right hook and Grice visibly supports himself on the wall and the two clinch. Big left from Grice, then a spinning back to the ribs before he lands another big left. The two clobber away as the fight ends. They immediately embrace as the fight closes.

Score: 10-8 Bermudez and 28-28 draw

Official Result: Dennis Bermudez by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

Round 2

Superman counter from Grice comes up short. Bermudez is sent tumbling after a missed strike. Clean left hook lands from Matt Grice. Bermudez is forced to grind Grice against the cage. As they release, Bermudez pursues with a leg kick. Right hand lands on the counter for Matt Grice. Grice sticks a jab in tight and tosses Bermudez to the mat. Grice grabs the head and neck of Bermudez and lands an elbow. Grice gets a takedown into Dennis Bermudez' back. Grice is bleeding from the hairline. Grice and Bermudez continue to miss wildly. Against the cage again and Bermudez pushes for the position. Bermudez has Grice in a late round guillotine attempt but Grice flips over onto his back as the round ends.

Score: 10-9 Grice, 20-18 Grice

Round 1

Right hand lands for Bermudez, who pushes Grice against the cage. Quick reversal for Grice, but he goes for a trip takedown and is mounted with his arm trapped in between his opponent's legs. Big punches from Bermudez as Grice cannot block the left and right hands with only one arm. Grice is able to get back to his feet and gets a partial takedown. Big left hook back in the center of the Octagon. Good leg kicks and jab from Grice. Bermudez gets caught in a front headlock and eats a knee. Elbow and hook by Grice as he pushes back off the fence. Big right hand and several big punches send Grice back on his heels. Bermudez works for a takedown, but lets go. Big left hook rocks Bermudez to the mat, but Grice cannot finish. Bermudez presses the action to the fence but both fighters are out again. Solid striking from each fighter. Left-right-knee combination lands for Grice to end the round.

Score: 10-9 Grice

Sam Stout vs Caros Fodor

Round 3

Fodor presses Stout hard to the cage, but Stout reverses. Leg trip from Fodor, but Stout is up quick. Stout uses a strength advantage to get Fodor wherever he wants. Takedown from Fodor and Stout is working to get up, which is does eventually. Short elbow to the face of Fodor in the clinch. Stout gets free again and eats some good shots from Caros Fodor. Stout avoids a takedown and takes a right hands from Fodor. Stout controls against the wall. Fodor is desperate for the trip takedown, but Stout fights it off.

Score: 10-9 Fodor and 29-28 for Sam Stout

Official Result: Sam Stout by split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)

Round 2 

Immediate clinch from Fodor after a striking attempt. Sam Stout gets away from Fodor, but eats a huge right hand. Stout covers up and they end up grappling once again on the cage. And they are back to the center of the Octagon. Two inside leg kicks from Caros Fodor. Two punches to the body from Stout, but Fodor connects with a hook of his own. Good combination from Stout that ends with a head kick. Big left hook from Fodor lands and Fodor goes for an outside leg trip. Stout, however, is able to tie back up and get Fodor against the cage and pushes off to get free. High left kick misses from Stout. Jab lands clean on Stout's chin and both fighters are pawing it out there. Stuffed takedown from Sam Stout, who wraps Fodor up and presses him to the fence. Right knee to the body, but Fodor is able to get Stout to the mat.

Score: 10-9 Stout, 20-18 Stout

Round 1

Stout tries to tie up early, but Fodor presses the fight and tries for a takedown. Stout gets Fodor against the fence but Stout gets free. Big hooks from Fodor connect before he shoots for a takedown and gets Sam Stout down. Stout gets the switch to Fodor's back and the two end up on their feet, with Stout hitting short elbows against the cage. Back to the center of the Octagon, Fodor swings over the top. In the clinch again, Stout and Fodor dirty box. Outside trips attempt by Fodor fails and Stout gets a trip of his own into guard. Stout passes to half guard and lands some solid strikes. Sam Stout works to mount and lands an elbow that gets Fodor wearing a Stout backpack. Stout ends back up in mount as the round ends.

Score: 10-9 Stout

Kenny Robertson vs Brock Jardine

Round 1 

Both fighters launch leg kicks at the same time. Head kick attempt by Robertson is blocked. Kenny Robertson goes for a takedown and is caught in a deep guillotine. Robertson works free and is in top position against Jardine. Robertson quickly transitions to back and is working for a rear naked choke. Jardine tries to roll away, but is flattened out and pounded. Jardine is hand-fighting with Robertson to prevent a choke. As Jardine tries to shake Robertson free, Kenny grabs the base leg, uses his hooks to sink a submission from the sprawl and Jardine taps.

Official Result: Kenny Robertson by submission (R1, leg lock, 2:57)

Jon Manley vs Neil Magny

Round 3

Good jabs and an uppercut from Neil Magny. Manley remains calm and hits a left hook. Big right over the top from Manley. Right misses from Manley and Magny gets a takedown. Side control from Magny and is back into Manley's guard. Jon Manley has an armbar locked in on Neil Magny, but Magny keeps him pressed to the mat. Neil Magny protects his arm by separating Jon Manley's legs. He postures up and slips his arm free. Big ground and pound from Magny allows him to get to full mount. Magny has Manley's back, but Jon Manley gets free. Manley presses Magny against the fence. The two are separated and resume in the middle of the octagon. Manley eats a jab, but goes for some big shots before Magny steps under and gets one last takedown.

Score: 10-9 Magny and 29-28 from Neil Magny

Official Result: Neil Magny by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

Round 2

Manley comes out swinging, but uses it to get Magny against the cage. Big takedown from Manley. Manley works to side control. Neil Magny hangs on tight and sweeps Manley to his back, holding side control. He briefly executes some ground and pound before he stands up. Manley has Magny back against the cage and Magny is landing solid knees to the body. After the fighters separate, Magny gets a takedown into side control. As Manley tries to escape, he is pounded in the face. Manley works back to his feet and puts Magny to the fence again. Magny trips Manley down but only to his knees. Big punch from Magny. Manley gets back to his feet and eats knees from Magny.

Score: 10-9 Magny, 19-19 even

Round 1

Both fighters throw out jabs before Manley presses Magny to the cage before he takes Magny to the mat. He's back up, though. Jon Manley gets Neil Magny against the cage while he looks for the takedown against. The crowd boos as Manley pushes Magny down to the ground, but Neil Magny is quick to recover. Knees to the body against the fence by Magny. Magny switches the position and releases after some solid takedown effort that falls just short. Jab from Magny. Neil Magny gets Manley against the fence again as both men work for a takedown. Both fighters exit and work on their feet (no one really connects) as the first stanza ends.

Score: 10-9 Manley

Nah-Shon Burrell vs Yuri Villefort

Round 3

Big left hook over the top by Burrell. Inside leg kick from Villefort. Double leg takedown from Villefort. He quickly takes the back but misses the rear naked choke. Villefort and Burrell grapple briefly, as Burrell slips free from the grips of the Brazilian and they are standing again. After a missed uppercut, Villefort gets another takedown on Burrell. Inside heel hook by Villefort, but Burrell just unloads on the face of Villefort. Blood is just flying everywhere as it happens. Burrell ends up back on top and has Villefort's neck, but Yuri gets him against the fence. Burrell goes for a guillotine that Yuri Villefort escapes. Burrell presses Villefort against the cage. Villefort needs to take this round and is working for another takedown. Burrell escapes and lands a backfist on the way out. Burrell lands a kick to the face and follows with another uppercut. Villefort is a mess. Burrell, by comparison, is a totally fine. Villefort motions for Burrell to attack as the fight draws to a close, so both men go for it.

Score: 10-9 Burrell and 29-28 Nah-Shon Burrell

Official Result: Nah-Shon Burrell by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

Round 2

Leg kick from Villefort. Superman punch from Burrell is partially blocked. Body shot then leg kick from Villefort. Knockdown from a right hand by Burrell. Villefort is back to his feet and both fighters land big shots. Right uppercut from Burrell connects. High kick from Villefort, followed by a body shot from Villefort. Another uppercut lands for Burrell. Big right from Villefort over the top. Left hooks to Burrell's abdomen. Burrell and Villefort clinch against the cage but roll off quickly and get back into the center of the cage. Yuri Villefort eats another jab and uppercut from Burrell. Blood is now dripping from the nose of Villefort. Burrell lands a right to the body and then a jab to end round 2.

Score: 10-9 Burrell, 19-19 even

Round 1

Early feints by Burrell, who lands a sweet lead uppercut. Villefort catches a kick and gets into side control. Villefort begins to transition to back and slaps on a rear naked choke...but Burrell gets free. Villefort loses position to Burrell who stands up and waits for the ref to stand his opponent up. Good combination by Burrell, but Villefort is whipping leg kicks at the front leg of Nah-Shon Burrell. Good left hook by Burrell. He gets Villefort down to the ground with a good combo, diving in with a punch, but Villefort almost locks on a kneebar. Burrell is able to get free and Yuri comes after him with punches. The two end the round on their feet.
