On Thursday, the Nevada State Athletic Commission determined the referee and judges for Ronda Rousey's return fight against Amanda Nunes, which headlines UFC 207 on Dec. 30.

Rousey will get back in action for the first time in over a year while taking on Nunes, who became the women's bantamweight champion in July with a submission victory over Miesha Tate at UFC 200.

The referee in charge of the action will be Herb Dean, who is one of the most veteran officials in the sport and he has overseen several of Rousey's fights in the past.

In fact, Dean was the referee in Rousey's last fight when she suffered a knockout loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 last November.

As far as the judges go, Nevada appointed Adalaide Byrde, Sal D'amato and Chris Lee to score the fight although they may not have much to do on the night of the bout.

Rousey has never gone to a decision during her professional career while Nunes has only gone to the judges one time during her seven fight career with the UFC.

The officials were also announced for the UFC 207 co-main event between bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and his challenger Cody Garbrandt.

"Big" John McCarthy will serve as the referee in the title fight with judges Derek Cleary, Jeff Mullen and Tony Weeks scoring the bout.

UFC 207 goes down Dec. 30 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
