The upcoming FOX UFC Saturday card in Chicago will be absent one fight after heavyweight Oleksiy Oliynyk suffered an injury in training that will force him out of his scheduled bout against Jared Rosholt.

Unfortunately, due to the late nature of the injury and a lack of possible replacements on short notice, the UFC has opted to scratch the bout entirely and move forward with an 11-fight card for the show on Jan 25 from the United Center in Chicago.

Oliynyk (48-9-1) was set to make his UFC debut following a submission win over legendary Pride fighter Mirko CroCop in November.

The win marked his ninth victory in a row overall, but he'll have to wait a few months before he gets a shot at No. 10.

UFC officials have not announced if they will reschedule the heavyweight bout at a later date or if both fighters will just be re-booked against different opponents.
