On this week's UFC World Podcast, Mike Dolce, Jonathan Chaimberg and Israel's first fighter to join the UFC roster, Noad Ladat, join host Gareth A Davies.
Dolce discusses his extraordinary childhood, growing up as the son of a thoroughbred horse breeder, revealing why and how he increased his body weight to 280lbs+ as a powerlifter, before realising he was en route to killing himself. Dolce expounds his theories on which weight classes Frank Mir, John Lineker, and even Dana White, would be at their optimum performance level.
Noad Lahat is the first Israeli mixed martial artist to be signed the UFC roster. He talks about growing up in a military family in Samaria, and how he is thriving at AKA in San Jose, Cal. amongst a great group of stand-outs in the UFC.
They call strength and conditioning coach Jonathan Chaimberg 'the guru' in Montreal where he works with many well-known fighters including GSP and Rory MacDonald. Chaimberg breaks down UFC Fight Night 36, or Machida versus Mousasi, as they are calling the event in Jaragua da Sol, and gives his insight into what GSP is now offering pupil Francis Carmont, who faces a tough night against 'Jacare' Souza. Gareth and Jonathan discuss the main fights on the card, and how Lyoto Machida and Gergard Mousasi stack up against each other.
