Michael Chiesa vs. Kevin Lee headlines UFC Fight Night in Oklahoma City

The UFC's return to Oklahoma City now has a marquee main event.

No. 7 ranked lightweight Michael Chiesa will return to action against No. 11 ranked Kevin Lee in a five-round main event on June 25 that could propel the winner near title contention.

UFC officials announced the new pairing on Thursday.

Chiesa (14-2) enters the main event on a three-fight win streak, including victories over Beneil Dariush and Jim Miller. The bout will take place more than a year after Chiesa's last fight due to a back injury that forced him out of action for the latter half of 2016.

As for Lee (15-2), he's made a name for himself of late while winning his past four fights in a row with three of those victories coming by way of submission or TKO.

Lee is considered one of the top prospects in the lightweight division but he'll certainly face his toughest test to date against Chiesa in June.

Chiesa vs. Lee joins a stacked card headed to Oklahoma City, including the return of UFC Hall of Famer B.J. Penn when he takes on Dennis Siver as well as former champion Johny Hendricks making his second appearance at middleweight as he faces Tim Boetsch.
